No. Mesh and cotton rugs provide breathable coverage rather than waterproof rain protection. Choose a full rainsheet for waterproof coverage, or a rainsheet hybrid for a waterproof topline. The hybrid’s mesh sides are not waterproof
No. Ordinary mesh rugs provide a physical barrier where the fabric covers your horse. Our Mini IR3535 styles also include built-in insect repellent to help reduce biting-insect bother. Look for IR3535 in the product name.
They can suit Shetlands whose measurements and build match our Mini range. Check the size guide rather than choosing by breed alone, and contact us if you need help with fit.
