How Our No Neck Join Design Improves Fit & Mane Protection
One of the biggest advantages of a no neck join design is the longer, uninterrupted neck drop it allows.
Without a stitched join across the neck, the rug can extend smoothly over the shoulders and withers, allowing it to sit naturally as your horse lowers its head to graze. This reduces downward pressure on the mane and prevents the tension and rubbing commonly caused by traditional neck join designs.
As the horse moves and grazes, traditional neck joins can pull backward and downward, placing constant pressure on the mane and crest. Over time, this can lead to mane rub, breakage, and discomfort.

No Neck Join Where It Matters Most
Love My Horse no neck join rugs are designed to eliminate the traditional seam that runs across the top of the neck, which is the main cause of leaks, pressure, and mane rub in combo rugs.
To achieve proper coverage and comfort, an additional fabric panel is added lower down on the neck. This allows for a longer neck drop without placing pressure on the mane or crest.
Because this lower join sits down the sides of the neck rather than across the top, it does not compromise waterproof performance.
