My love for horses began in rural New Zealand, wrestling with heavy, leaky canvas rugs in cold, wet conditions. Years later, I found myself in the Whitsundays, QLD, sailing tropical islands and later settling in Proserpine — where I discovered Polocrosse and a whole new set of challenges: extreme heat, humidity, biting insects, and Queensland Itch.

Then came the freezing winters of Braidwood, NSW. My North QLD-bred horse “Smudge” struggled with the cold and poorly fitting rugs. Frustrated by the lack of quality options, I began designing my own — starting with high-grade fabrics and reimagining fit for greater comfort and adjustability. That one rug soon fit multiple horses, saving money and solving years of rug frustration.

Love My Horse was born from this need — and today, we offer the largest size range in Australia, from 3'3 to 7'9, with bold colours, reflectors for night safety, and secure, adaptable designs. Whether you're battling rain, cold, or heat, our rugs are made to perform across Australia's harsh and varied climates.

I’m not a big corporation — I’m a horse owner with 30+ years of experience in breeding, riding, and caring for horses. I created these rugs to fit the horses I love, and they wear them every day.
